FlameBlock Lithium Black is made of a specific formulation of minerals and salts.
This distinctive formulation does the following to a lithium-ion battery fire:
• Bring the temperature of the batteries down to 80ᵒC.
• Keeps on cooling the battery.
• Interfere with the chemical reaction of the battery.
• Interfere with the oxygen radicals released by the lithium.
• Cover the battery to prevent gasses escape.
• Discharge the battery to prevent re-ignition later.
